President's Welcome

Noarlunga City Obedience Dog Club was established in 1977 but remains a  relatively small club focused on providing the local community with a friendly and supportive atmosphere where people can receive help in training their dogs to be good canine citizens and guidance in becoming responsible and knowledgeable dog owners and handlers.

Being small has never prevented the club from being successful.  As well as helping to train many thousands of dogs to be well behaved pets over those years, we can also boast some of the top competition dogs and handlers in Obedience and Agility in the state and we call on their expertise in training others.  The club is run by a dedicated group of volunteers who do whatever they can to ensure your time with us is enjoyable and rewarding. We offer instruction from puppy socialisation through to basic and advanced obedience training to the top levels of competitive Obedience and Agility.  We are affiliated with the South Australian Canine Association (DogsSA) and conduct A.N.K.C. Obedience and Agility trials on our grounds each year.

We try to keep our class sizes as small as possible so that every member has the best opportunity to benefit from the experience and enthusiasm our instructors offer.  Whether your goal is simply to have a well socialised and well behaved family pet or to compete at the highest level, we'll help you achieve your goals and build a satisfying working relationship with your dog.

Our clubrooms and training grounds are on the Pimpala Primary School Oval, Vanstone Avenue, Morphett Vale, which is just off Bains Road, about half way between South Road and States Road. Please refer to the attached Map on the Contact link which shows greater detail of our location.

Obedience classes are conducted on Sunday mornings from 9:30am and on Wednesday evenings from 7:30pm.  Agility training takes place on Monday evenings from 6:15pm.  All classes are conducted from the first week of February to the end of November each year.
